What's on the Series 79.

Tests financial statement analysis and valuation, the mechanics and rules of registered and exempt offerings, and the process and regulation of M&A, tender offers and restructurings. About half the exam is data analysis and valuation. Passing it together with the SIE qualifies you to register as an Investment Banking Representative.

What score do I need to pass the Series 79?
73%, on 75 scored questions (plus 5 unscored pretest questions you can't tell apart).
How much does the Series 79 exam cost?
The exam fee is $395, paid when you enroll for the exam. It's separate from the price of the course.
