What's on the Series 24.

Tests the supervisory side of running a broker-dealer: firm and personnel registration, supervisory systems, books and records, oversight of customer accounts and sales practices, trading and market making, and investment banking and research. Passing it, on top of the SIE and a qualifying representative exam, lets you register as a General Securities Principal or the principal category that matches your representative license.

Who takes it. Experienced representatives moving into branch manager, compliance or other supervisory roles.

Who can take the Series 24?
Sponsorship by a FINRA member firm. Co-requisite: SIE plus a qualifying exam: Series 7, 57, 79, 82 or 86/87, or Series 16. Experienced representatives moving into branch manager, compliance or other supervisory roles.
What score do I need to pass the Series 24?
70%, on 150 scored questions (plus 10 unscored pretest questions you can't tell apart).
How much does the Series 24 exam cost?
The exam fee is $235, paid when you enroll for the exam. It's separate from the price of the course.
